Please consider applying to volunteer for open Russell County Board positions. The Board recently announced they wanted to clean up these positions, so we should give them all the volunteers they need. We should also volunteer to ensure new people are in these positions and able to increase transparency by giving the BOS options on who to appoint. Some choices are the IDA, economic development, social services board, planning commission, your local community center, tourism and more. List your interests and strengths.
