The Russell County Animal Shelter provides a comfortable, warm and safe environment for the animals we receive who are unwanted, abused or abandoned.  
We provide adoption services for animals with suitable dispositions in an effort to place them within a nurturing environment.  We believe that shelter animals can be placed into a loving and wonderful family environment.
