approve a $500 donation to the Town of Lebanon, Town of Honaker and the Town of Cleveland for their
4th of July Celebrations.

Jerry Connor commented that he had issues with the County PSA and the Community Work Program.

He also was concerned about the numerous break ins in the county recently.
Wanda Burke, Lebanon commented that she would be very disappointed if the Board doesn’t approve a
donation to the Mark Maro event. She also stated that she would make it extremely public if the Board
did not help with this.

APPROVAL OF A VDOT RESOLUTION TO DISMISS THE PETITION FOR ABANDOMENT OF RTE. 871
Motion made by Oris Christian, second Carl Rhea and duly approved by the Board of Supervisors to
approve a VDOT Resolution to dismiss the petition for abandonment of Rte. 871.
