County Government Center in Lebanon, Virginia.
The Clerk called the meeting to order.
Invocation by Chairman Steve Breeding, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

A discussion was held concerning the Russell County Industrial Development Authority and the recent resignation of five
members.
RESIGNATIONS OF FIVE IDA MEMBERS ACCEPTED
Motion made by David Eaton, second Mark Mitchell and duly approved by the Board of Supervisors to accept the resignations of
Mike Duty, Tony Dodi, Tom Cook, J. C. Boyd and Sam Whited from the Russell County Industrial Development Authority effective
immediately.
The vote was: Aye: David Eaton, Mark Mitchell, Tim Lovelace, Carl Rhea, Lou Wallace, Steve Breeding and Rebecca Dye Nay: None
Roger Sword gave a brief explanation of the recent Russell County IDA meetings.

Motion made by Mark Mitchell, second Tim Lovelace and duly approved by the Board of Supervisors to appoint Carlton Elliott to the Russell County Industrial Development Authority.

CARLTON ELLIOTT APPOIINTED TO THE IDA TO FILL UNEXPIRED TERM OF MIKE DUTY
Motion made by Mark Mitchell, second Tim Lovelace and duly approved by the Board of Supervisors to appoint Carlton Elliott to the Russell County Industrial Development Authority to fill the unexpired term of Mike Duty, said term ending June 03, 2018.
